Mark Lomax
Graduating from Salford University College in 1985 gaining a BSc in Podiatry
and Diploma of Anaesthesia. Mark Lomax started in practice the same year and
has developed his clinical Podiatric skills to cover all areas of Podiatry
including the specialist areas of Biomechanics (The study of abnormal foot and
leg movement) and minor nail surgery. Post graduate and CPD education include,
Application and manufacture of Orthotics, Practice marketing and development.
Local Anaesthetic up dates, Advanced Local Anaesthetic Techniques, Diabetic
foot care and methods of Research.
As well as clinical work Mr Lomax also works in a voluntary capacity for winter
watch a Christian charity providing foot care for the homeless and
disadvantaged in society. He has also provided Podiatric treatment to Athletes
involved in the Manchester Marathon.
His own interests include. Swimming, Running and cycling, individually and in
combination as triathlons. His other main interest is his young family of three
children.
He is a senior school governor and devoted church member.
As one of the founding members of St Georges Multi-therapy Centre he has a
strong focus on the running of the clinic as a whole and stamps his own high
personal standards on the centre where ever possible
