Andrew, a retired teacher and fully trained listening Samaritan as well as an Independent Mental Health Advocate working in Bolton has been a practising counsellor at St George’s for several years now. He has qualifications in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Person Centred Counselling, Hypnopsychotherapy, Counselling Supervision and has experience in helping with bereavement, loss, work based issues, addiction, depression, anxiety amongst many others.
Andrew works according to the BACP Ethical Framework and undergoes regular Supervision. He is a Member of the BACP (MBACP) and is part of the BACP’s Accredited Voluntary Register. His qualifications include BSc (HONS) a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, HNC in Law, Post Graduate Diploma in Employment Law, Diploma in Counselling (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Model) and a Certificate in Person Centred Counselling, Diploma in Hypnopsychotherapy and Advanced Certificate in Therapeutic Hypnosis and a Level 6 Certificate in Counselling Supervision.
