What is Psychotherapy?

The aim of psychotherapy is to help people look back at their past experiences and relationships in order to come to terms with deep seated issues which may bring about changes in the way they think and behave.


The Psychotherapist, a trained listener, will question the client in such a way as to unravel the past and get to the root of the problem. Psychotherapy is particularly recommended for people suffering from anxiety, depression or stress related disorders.


Many people with allergies may have had them for some time, with stressful effects on their lives and relationships that they are unaware of. Psychotherapy can help to get to the bottom of these and, with the help of the Therapist, the client may be able to see ways of changing his or her situation.

There are a number of techniques that a Therapist can teach to help you to change your mind and see your situation in a more positive light.
